A century later, he's been outfitted with the full regalia: a die-cut comic book warrior complete with winged helmet, articulated armor, sweeping purple cape, and a blade that bisects the frame. The original cabinet card border now carries found text in mixed-case stamp lettering — My Gran Told Me Once That A City Has Enough Windows For Everybody — a line that arrived intuitively and refused to leave. Gold-edged panel. Black painted sides. The warrior and the wallflower are the same man.
