I Will Always Dream
Repurposed painting palette with paintbrush and q-tip, finished in resin
This piece began as a working studio tool — a wooden painting palette, built up over time with layers of dried acrylic from real use. Rather than clean it or set it aside, the palette becomes the artwork itself: a paintbrush and a used q-tip, tools of the actual making, embedded directly into the surface. Found stamped text runs along the edge: "I will always dream."
There's no image here, no figure, no landscape — just the raw residue of process, the color a studio produces without trying to. Sealed in resin, it holds that moment of working exactly as it was.
Details:
12" x 18" repurposed studio palette
Paintbrush and q-tip embedded in surface
Resin-sealed, ready to hang
One-of-a-kind, signed by the artist
